Production Description of March 2021:

"The COVID 19 pandemic put theatre productions to a standstill in Ireland, Europe and the rest of the world and still we are waiting to return safely to cultural venues.

But until then, theatre doors remain shut, the curtain dusty and theatre students - like us - hungry. This is why we came up with a piece of theatre which seamlessly merges with the circumstances of our time: 
STUCK SOMEWHERE NEW is an interactive online show that invites you to a theatrical treasure hunt, to a virtually curated rabbit hole and to get stuck somewhere new.

During the last seven weeks we have been working together with a cast of 12 people and a crew of designers, managers, editors and IT professionals (all students of Trinity College Dublin and equally hungry and enthusiastic as we are) to create a virtual performance piece about the relationship between space and emotionality. With everyone being trapped at home and inside their rooms, we wanted to explore the question of how subjective a place and location can be and what happens if we put the audience into someone else’s space. How would you react if you were stuck somewhere new? "
