Hush, Boy, Hush

Dozens of soldiers are waiting to be sent out to war. As they sit tight in the barracks, clean their guns, drink their beers and follow the rigid routine of guard duties, tensions rise. What if they have to go to war tomorrow? So after every day they cheer: “We’re still alive tonight!”.
Among them is Franz Woyzeck who is losing sleep over the pressure to provide for his young family. The lieutenant and the military doctor take advantage of his vulnerability, and slowly Woyzeck finds himself trapped in a vortex of jealousy, humiliation, the horrors of war and the question of what it means to be a man.
